Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also the owner of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie is the only woman ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. In 2010, she finished in second place. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter, is also a CrossFit athlete as well as a popular journalist. She was the first woman winner of the CrossFit Games in 2011, as well as 2012, and twice. She is also known for taking home the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was raised in Iceland, Reykjavik with her siblings and parents. Annie was an avid sportsperson and worked out from an early age. She first competed in CrossFit in California in 2009. She did well during her first competitions. In her second year, she competed again in CrossFit Games. Due to her outstanding performance, she was the first woman who won CrossFit Games. Annie became the very first female to ever win in consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to an exceptional performance. Additionally, in 2014 Annie received a Silver medal and, most recently, in 2021, she took home a Bronze Medal in the CrossFit Games. Annie works as a trainer and coach at Crossfit Reykjavik. It was the idea of her.
