Afterward, she was introduced to an artist who went on tour as a backing singer. They both decided to become part of Vh1's popular TV show Hollywood and became one of the cast's eight original participants. The initial season depicts the pregnancy and birth of their baby son Megaa Omari Grandberry. In season two she reveals the conflicts with her professional life and the insecurities associated with her recent success. Omarion Was on tour during the recording of the second-season reunion episode, didn't accompany Apryl. On December 7 2015 Apryl announced that they have left the show and that they would not be returning the next season. A'mei, the daughter of Apryl, was born on 7 March 2016. Apryl, Omarion and their daughter A'mei Kazuko Grandberry announced that they had broken up four months earlier. Apryl was a guest on season 4, meeting with Lil' Fizz to discuss a potential B2K reunion. Apryl returned to the show for season six in which she discussed her custody fight with Omarion as well as the scrutiny and speculation from the media around her relationship Lil' Fizz. They admit to each other that they're romantically linked which has pushed Moniece as well along with the other actors into conflict.
