Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor. She was born on June 13, 1962. Following her film debut with 1983's Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack of actors. She was also in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy earned an Independent Spirit Award Best Female leading for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy, an American author and actress. Her movie career started in her early 80s when she was featured in the crime drama film, Bad Boys. The film, which was helmed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other famous actors, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. In the following film after her debut was released in 1985, she starred in the comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes directed one of best films aimed at high schools. Although the budget was just $1 million, its profits surpassed 50 million dollars. While she was doing this, her debut on television came in the form of CBS Schoolbreak. In April of 1980, it became an adolescent-oriented show. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other TV shows where she was a part of. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film featuring a superhero in which Sheedy plays an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy has been awarded numerous times for her stellar performances which include the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
